How to troubleshoot a grayed-out purchase button

If your Purchase button is disabled (or grayed out), check the following list for potential fixes to activate the Purchase button:

  1. Offer status: Verify that the offer status is Accepted, Accepted - Pending Purchase, or Term Ending.

    • If your offer status is Term Ended or Offer Expired, contact your vendor.
    • If your offer status is Pending, the offer isn't yet accepted or it's not yet available for purchase.
  2. Date range: Confirm that the current date falls within the private offer's start and end dates. You won't be able to purchase a private offer before the start date nor after the end date outside this date range. If you need new start and end dates, contact your vendor.

  3. Product readiness: Verify if the private offer product status is Ready.

  4. Roles and permissions: Validate that the person attempting to purchase has subscription owner or contributor role for at least one eligible subscription associated with the billing account used for the private offer. For details, see Roles and permissions.

  5. Billing account and subscription eligibility: Validate that the billing account and subscription are available and eligible for marketplace purchases. You must have at least one eligible subscription associated with the billing account.

  6. Purchasing controls and policies: Ensure that marketplace purchasing policies are enabled. For details, see Purchase validation checks.
