Exchange Workflow Projects

This content is no longer actively maintained. It is provided as is, for anyone who may still be using these technologies, with no warranties or claims of accuracy with regard to the most recent product version or service release.

Exchange Workflows have their own project. Each project represents a folder. The project is a peer to the SQL Server Workflow projects and Digital Dashboard projects. The Exchange Workflow Projects are able to contain only Exchange workflow process definitions. All other items will not be allowed, including folders.

When a new Exchange workflow project is created, a project file is created in the folder specified in location. The project file has the name specified in the New Project dialog box and has an extension of .epw. The file itself is empty, with the exception of a specific content-class, and is used for the purposes of being able to "File Open" and as a pointer in the Solution file.
