Any update on this?
After struggling with Teams to allow me to log in, I finally managed. Then after a restart, I got this error.
Very frustrating.

Good afternoon:
Any time I try to go to security.microsoft.com or compliance.microsoft.com and log in, I'm greeted with a "Selected user account does not exist in tenant 'Microsoft Services' and cannot access the application" error. The same account credentials log me into portal.azure.com and office.com just fine.

The experience here is with a problem account in the soon to be decommissioned Teams Free (Classic) App, where after adding in the MS Support App, and generating a query, and locating the Sign in to contact Support button below.
Clicking it gets the login box in the browser with the error. The above suggestion to use Azure Portal should help : https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/troubleshoot/azure/active-directory/error-code-aadsts50020-user-account-identity-provider-does-not-exist
I am having the same problem on my Mac. I am signed in (as is obvious by my post here), but I keep getting the error when I try to log in to Teams. I cannot connect to a Teams invitation sent by a 3rd party, either. This is ridiculous. I never have such problems with Zoom.
Selected user account does not exist in tenant 'Microsoft Services' and cannot access the application '1fec8e78-bce4-4aaf-ab1b-5451cc387264' in that tenant. The account needs to be added as an external user in the tenant first. Please use a different account.
I have just signed up for Teams and am getting the same error message. I have a valid Microsoft 365 Personal account and downloaded the Teams app. Do I need to do something in addition to that?
