Remote server returned '550 5.7.520 Message blocked because it contains content identified as spam. AS(4810)' Today i have received an email returned as spam. This was from an addressee who I correspond mostly, being a family member and I was sending them an important document. Both of these are Microsoft accounts (Hotmail and Outlook), both accounts are listed under my family 365 account, both using Microsoft Outlook and no other system for sending and receiving emails. Can you tell me why this is the case and how I am able to stop this in the future?

I just have the same problem. If I send an e-mail without attachement, it works, if the mail contains PDF attachements, it is blocked. VERY ANNOYING.

The mail is sent normally with a jpg attachement.

I was able to send a PDF file after including it as a ZIP file with WINZIP.

This could be a workaround while waiting for Microsoft to deign to search and find a solution.

The error message you received indicates that the message was blocked by the recipient's email server because it was identified as spam by their anti-spam filters. This can happen for a variety of reasons, such as the message containing certain keywords, having suspicious attachments, or coming from a suspicious IP address. To prevent this from happening in the future, you can take the following steps: Check your email for any suspicious content or attachments before sending it. Avoid using too many images, links, or other potentially risky content. nullnullnullnull

Check your email for any suspicious content or attachments before sending it. Avoid using too many images, links, or other potentially risky content.

Make sure your email account and computer are secure and free of malware. Run regular virus scans and keep your software and operating system up to date.

Consider using a reputable email service with strong anti-spam filters. Some email providers offer better spam protection than others.

Contact the recipient and ask them to whitelist your email address or domain to ensure that future messages are not blocked as spam.

If you continue to have problems, you may need to contact your email provider or IT department for further assistance. They can help identify the root cause of the issue and provide additional guidance on how to prevent your emails from being marked as spam.

    SOLUTION!!

    GO TO HOTMAIL.COM

    CREATE A NEW EMAIL

    INSERT

    UPLOAD AND SHARE

    PICK YOUR FILE

SELECT UPLOAD AGAIN WHEN IT PROMPTS YOU

IT WILL UPLOAD THE FILE AS A LINK.

THAT WORKED FOR ME WHEN I SENT IT!!!

WORKS FOR THE TIME BEING IN THE WWW.HOTMAIL.COM MAIL VERSION.

On my Win11 PC, the defect is found on the MS Office Pro Plus 2021 "New Outlook" also in the Outlook (PWA) app and the online Outlook.com site.

My fix, that worked, was to revert back to the OLD Outlook in my copy of MS Office Pro Plus 2021.
