Remarks
The HeterogeneousLogReaderAgentProcessSecurity property is only used for non-SQL Server Publishers.
The HeterogeneousLogReaderAgentProcessSecurity property is read-only. Set the security properties of the returned IProcessSecurityContext interface. For information about the connections that agents make and the permissions that are required for those connections, see Replication Agent Security Model.
The HeterogeneousLogReaderAgentProcessSecurity property can only be retrieved by members of the sysadmin fixed server role at the Distributor or by members of the db_owner fixed database role on the distribution database.
The properties of the returned IProcessSecurityContext interface can only be set by members of the sysadmin fixed server role at the Distributor or by members of the db_owner fixed database role on the distribution database.
Retrieving the HeterogeneousLogReaderAgentProcessSecurity property is equivalent to executing sp_helplogreader_agent.
Setting the properties of the returned IProcessSecurityContext interface is equivalent to executing sp_addlogreader_agent or sp_changelogreader_agent.
