Run Windows on Mac
Like mentioned earlier, this will be fun! Speaking of which, go to https://www.apple.com/macosx/bootcamp/ and check out the side bars. The ones dealing with presumed Windows deficiencies would make a funny read if some of them were not sadly true.
Be it as it may, my favorite is: "EFI and BIOS: ... Sadly, Windows XP, and even the upcoming Vista, are stuck in the 1980s with old-fashioned BIOS. But with Boot Camp, the Mac can operate smoothly in both centuries."
Mary Jo Foley asks: "Windows users might like the prettier hardware, but would that be enough of a reason to move to a dual boot setup? We want to hear from Windows users who are interested in moving to Mac hardware. Are you out there?" You bet.

While Microsoft has the best software hands down, I have to say, Apple has some of the best hardware by far.
Microsoft keyboards are only just starting to look good as well as function well, and they're in something like generation 15 now? Sadly I've yet to see a bit of Microsoft hardware I've been impressed by. - Anonymous

Chris - I could not agree more with your first sentence :) I personally can't wait to get rid of the eye soars (HW) on my desk and replace it with s.th. nice. But why does all the Apple stuff have to be white? The iPod I bought thankfully is also available in black. But Orange and other colors would also make our lives more colorful (read: joyful). - Anonymous

I'm not convinced about the software. I agree that MS makes good software and Apple certainly doesn't make bulletproof software, MS has some way to go to match the eyecandy and slickness of OS X. Apps like iMovie are so much more superior than MS attempts. Vista is a step in the right direction but it'll be interesting to see how OS X 10.5 moves the bar.... - Anonymous
