Apple Introduces Boot Camp

https://www.apple.com/pr/library/2006/apr/05bootcamp.html
Ok, now all I need is to buy my favorite Apple system to run Windows (currently 32-bit). Over are the days of ugly looking desktops and monitors and laptops (not counting Acer's Ferrari line powered by AMD processors). Let's hope the stuff performs well and stays out of the way of Windows (and the Apple OS).

I love this: "Run XP natively
Once you’ve completed Boot Camp, simply hold down the option key at startup to choose between Mac OS X and Windows. (That’s the “alt” key for you longtime Windows users.) After starting up, your Mac runs Windows completely natively. Simply restart to come back to Mac."

Like mentioned earlier, this will be fun! Speaking of which, go to http://www.apple.com/macosx/bootcamp/ and...

I dont see this as useful as simply running a VM under OS-X, with Windows inside...  How often (with VM's) do we really WANT to have to restart to do one or two things?

but it is interesting how it gets Windows to run with that EFI bios...

Eric - the restart thing is kind of true. Especially for me as a long long time Windows user I would not restart to use OS-X (I guess).
On the VM side I would expect better perf running natively on the HW.
