Installer version 2.52.62.25009 - Microsoft Store version 11.2501.297.0 - NET8 Store version 11.2501.298.0 updates

New Features

  • Copilot can now be used to help you quickly understand desktop flows by summarizing actions and/or subflows (in preview).

  • In the ‘Run desktop flow’ action, a new toggle property is now available that allows the concurrent run of a child desktop flow, in parallel with its parent flow that invoked it. This configuration is useful for scenarios, where unexpected popups in the target application may block certain actions of the parent flow.

  • A new group of dedicated Access actions is now available out of the box, permitting the use of direct Access operations.

  • Excel, Word and Outlook instance variables are now supported as input/output variables in desktop flows, accommodating the respective variable types when passing information from one desktop flow to another.

  • The action ‘On block error’ now supports retry policies, as is already the case for individual actions’ error handling. If a retry policy is set and an error occurs, retrying will take place from the beginning of the block.

Enhancements & Improvements

  • The navigation bar in the console has now been adjusted to appear vertically, including a single Flows tab for own and shared flows. The flow search text field and the Refresh button have also been repositioned, while the flow icons have been redesigned.

  • In the Invoke web service action, for POST and PUT requests, a new option is now available to upload file or binary attachments.

  • A new toggle property has been added in the ‘Close SAP connection’ action, to close the running SAP application after closing the last connection.

  • Action logs in V2 can now be progressively uploaded, offering near-real-time log observability during desktop flow runs and reducing the finalization time for long-running flows.

  • In cloud connector actions, certain types of connections that require specific connection parameters to be created are now supported.

  • The Admin Center’s setting to disable embedded connection references in an environment is now properly consumed in affected desktop flows, displaying the proper banner message.

  • When no credentials are available to be retrieved in the ‘Get credential’ action, a button to add a new credential is now available, opening the Credentials page in the portal.

  • A new category has been added to the troubleshooter window, helping diagnose potential issues related to Dataverse.

  • Before starting to record with Copilot, you can now test your microphone through the respective window to ensure that your audio input device is working.

  • The first run experience while recording with Copilot is now limited to the first few runs of the said functionality.

  • In the ‘Get credential’ action, a new error code has now been introduced for handling cases where no CyberArk application is defined for a machine.

  • Some error messages have now been updated to provide clearer guidance when connectors or operations are missing.

  • Pager highlighting in cross-domain iframes in Internet Explorer now works as expected.

  • GridView control types are now also available for extracting data from tables.
