В следующем примере выполняются две операции массового копирования. Первая операция копирует сведения о заголовке заказа на продажу, а вторая — сведения о заказе на продажу. Хотя в этом примере это не обязательно (так как порядковые номера исходных и целевых столбцов совпадают), в примере определяются сопоставления столбцов для каждой операции массового копирования. Метод Clear необходимо использовать после выполнения первого массового копирования и до определения сопоставлений столбцов следующего массового копирования.

Метод Clear чаще всего используется при использовании одного SqlBulkCopy экземпляра для обработки нескольких операций массового копирования. При создании сопоставлений столбцов для одной операции массового копирования необходимо очистить SqlBulkCopyColumnMappingCollection после WriteToServer метода и перед обработкой следующего массового копирования.
Выполнение нескольких массовых копий с помощью одного экземпляра SqlBulkCopy обычно более эффективно с точки зрения производительности, чем использование отдельного SqlBulkCopy экземпляра для каждой операции.
