Defina como CacheOption BitmapCacheOption.OnLoad se você deseja fechar um fluxo usado para criar o BitmapImage. A opção de cache padrão OnDemand retém o acesso ao fluxo até que a imagem seja necessária e a limpeza seja tratada pelo coletor de lixo.
