August Security Updates for XP Embedded Are Delayed

The Windows XP Embedded monthly Security update release to the ECE site has been delayed due to last minute changes to the XP packaging that had to be accommodated in the Embedded release and tested. We still expect to hit our target window of release, within seven to ten days of the XP second Tuesday release.

Also look out in the next few days for the first of the new OPTIONAL hot fix packages that are also going to be provided to customers on the same schedule as the security updates, so that you can grab the hot fixes (if appropriate to you) at the same time as you grab the security updates.
