Viewing Work Items by using Work Item Queries
View the results of a query by using the View Results or View Query. You select these views by using icons on the query toolbar.
View Results This view displays the results of the query at the top, and the currently selected work item below. This view is useful for quickly reviewing and editing the work items in a query. When you open an existing query, it opens in this view. To switch to this view, on the toolbar, click View Results.
View Query This view displays the query at the top, and the results of that query below. This view is useful for creating and refining queries to obtain the results that you want. When you add a new query, it opens in this view. To switch to this view, on the toolbar, click View Query.
