Gets or sets the unit in which the RetentionPeriodUnit property is expressed.

Remarks
The RetentionPeriodUnit property can be retrieved by members of the db_owner or replmonitor fixed database roles on the publication database or by members of the publication access list (PAL) for the publication.
The RetentionPeriodUnit property can be set by members of the sysadmin fixed server role at the Publisher. It can also be set by members of the db_owner fixed database role on the publication database.
Retrieving RetentionPeriodUnit is equivalent to executing sp_helpmergepublication.
Setting RetentionPeriodUnit is equivalent to executing sp_addmergepublication or sp_changemergepublication.
