Remarks
Select cannot be set if the EnableUpdate property is set to true
.
A false
value assigned to the EnableUpdate property forces the CanUpdate property of the related EntityDataSourceView object to return false
. When the EnableUpdate property is set to false
, a NotSupportedException is raised if the data-bound control calls the ExecuteUpdate method on the EntityDataSourceView.
Setting the EnableUpdate property to true
does not guarantee updatability.
If any of the conditions for updatability are not met and the EnableUpdate property is set to true
, the EntityDataSource raises an exception.
