TI OMAP4470 Development Kit (Compact 2013)
10/16/2014
Windows Embedded Compact 2013 includes a board support package (BSP) for the TI OMAP4470 Blaze Tablet2 Development Platform, which uses a dual-core ARM Cortex A9 MP core with Symmetric Multiprocessing. When you install Platform Builder for Windows Embedded Compact 2013 with support for ARM processors, Platform Builder creates the following folder: %_WINCEROOT%\Platform\TI_SDP44XX.
This folder contains the Platform.bib file and other configuration files, the catalog items for the BSP, and source code for the boot loader, drivers, kernel independent transport layer (KITL), and OEM adaptation layer (OAL).
The following table describes the TI OMAP4470 Blaze Tablet2 Development Platform board support package (BSP) included in Platform Builder for Windows Embedded Compact 2013.

Note
There is a difference between TI/ARM and x86 systems during start-up. On TI/ARM processors the FTP server is loaded during boot-up, however, on x86 the FTP server is not. On the TI_3730 and TI_4470 the FTP server can be started directly by ftp://<ipaddress>. On x86 targets, the user must fire an IOCTL to start the FTP server.
