Comment Field, Posted Deposit Header Table
This field indicates whether or not a comment has been entered for this posted deposit. Any comment that was entered on the original deposit document was copied to this posted document during posting.
The field is a button. If the picture on the button is a pencil point lying horizontally, no comment has been created for the deposit. If the button shows a vertical pencil with four horizontal lines, there is a comment for the posted deposit.
To see a comment, or to create a new one, click the Comment button. The Bank Comment Sheet window will appear. You can see the existing comments and create new ones.
You can also create a comment by clicking the Deposit button and choosing Comments.
Important
If the comment field is a check field instead of a button (as described above), this is because it is not a standard comment field. It was inserted in the window using the design facilities. In this case, a check in the field will indicate that there is a comment for the deposit.
