Specifies all the relevant information about the deposit, such as the bank account where it was deposited, the posted date, and the total amount of the deposit. Any relevant information will automatically be copied from the header to the lines when it is posted.
A posted deposit consists of a posted deposit header and one or more posted deposit lines. Posted deposit lines contain information about the individual deposited items, such as checks from customers. This information includes the document date and number, account type and number, and amount.
Note
You cannot change any of the fields on a posted deposit header or lines because the deposit has already been posted.
