Prepares the generator to generate items, starting at the specified GeneratorPosition, and in the specified GeneratorDirection.
Overloads
StartAt(GeneratorPosition, GeneratorDirection) |
Prepares the generator to generate items, starting at the specified GeneratorPosition, and in the specified GeneratorDirection. |
StartAt(GeneratorPosition, GeneratorDirection, Boolean) |
Prepares the generator to generate items, starting at the specified GeneratorPosition, and in the specified GeneratorDirection, and controlling whether or not to start at a generated (realized) item. |
StartAt(GeneratorPosition, GeneratorDirection)
Prepares the generator to generate items, starting at the specified GeneratorPosition, and in the specified GeneratorDirection.
public:
IDisposable ^ StartAt(System::Windows::Controls::Primitives::GeneratorPosition position, System::Windows::Controls::Primitives::GeneratorDirection direction);
public IDisposable StartAt (System.Windows.Controls.Primitives.GeneratorPosition position, System.Windows.Controls.Primitives.GeneratorDirection direction);
abstract member StartAt : System.Windows.Controls.Primitives.GeneratorPosition * System.Windows.Controls.Primitives.GeneratorDirection -> IDisposable
Public Function StartAt (position As GeneratorPosition, direction As GeneratorDirection) As IDisposable
Parameters
- position
- GeneratorPosition
A GeneratorPosition, that specifies the position of the item to start generating items at.
- direction
- GeneratorDirection
A GeneratorDirection that specifies the direction which to generate items.
Returns
An IDisposable object that tracks the lifetime of the generation process.
Remarks
StartAt must be called before GenerateNext is called.
StartAt sets Status to GeneratingContainers; when the IDisposable is disposed, the status changes to ContainersGenerated or Error, as appropriate.
Applies to
StartAt(GeneratorPosition, GeneratorDirection, Boolean)
Prepares the generator to generate items, starting at the specified GeneratorPosition, and in the specified GeneratorDirection, and controlling whether or not to start at a generated (realized) item.

public IDisposable StartAt (System.Windows.Controls.Primitives.GeneratorPosition position, System.Windows.Controls.Primitives.GeneratorDirection direction, bool allowStartAtRealizedItem);
abstract member StartAt : System.Windows.Controls.Primitives.GeneratorPosition * System.Windows.Controls.Primitives.GeneratorDirection * bool -> IDisposable
Public Function StartAt (position As GeneratorPosition, direction As GeneratorDirection, allowStartAtRealizedItem As Boolean) As IDisposable
Parameters
- position
- GeneratorPosition
A GeneratorPosition, that specifies the position of the item to start generating items at.
- direction
- GeneratorDirection
Specifies the position of the item to start generating items at.
- allowStartAtRealizedItem
- Boolean
A Boolean that specifies whether to start at a generated (realized) item.
Returns
An IDisposable object that tracks the lifetime of the generation process.
Remarks
See StartAt.
