Poiché l'evento SelectedIndexChanging si verifica prima che il GridView controllo esegua l'operazione di selezione, la SelectedIndex proprietà del controllo non può essere utilizzata per determinare l'indice della nuova riga selezionata dall'utente. La SelectedIndex proprietà contiene ancora l'indice della riga selezionata in precedenza. Per determinare l'indice della nuova riga selezionata dall'utente, utilizzare la NewSelectedIndex proprietà . È anche possibile utilizzare questa proprietà per eseguire l'override a livello di codice dell'indice di riga selezionato dall'utente impostandolo su un altro valore.
