DataLakeServiceClient.CreateFileSystem Method

Definition

The CreateFileSystem(String, DataLakeFileSystemCreateOptions, CancellationToken) operation creates a new file system under the specified account. If the file systen with the same name already exists, the operation fails.

Parameters

fileSystemName
String

The name of the file system to create.

options
DataLakeFileSystemCreateOptions

Optional parameters.

cancellationToken
CancellationToken

Optional CancellationToken to propagate notifications that the operation should be cancelled.

Returns

A Response<T> referencing the newly created file system.

Remarks

A RequestFailedException will be thrown if a failure occurs.
