Searching for Code in the Code Librarian Viewer

The Code Librarian Viewer offers search capabilities to help you find the code snippets you must have.

To find code snippets

  1. From the Code Librarian Viewer, select Find from the File menu.

    -or-

    Select the Find button on the Code Viewer toolbar.

  2. The Find In Code Library window is displayed. In the Find What textbox, enter your search text. Entering your search text enables the Find button.

  3. In the Options check box, select the search options you would like to use. Clear the check box for search options you want to exclude.

  4. Click Find.

  5. The search results are displayed in the Search Results list window, located just below the Code Item Viewer window.

  6. To view a code snippet in the Search Results window, select it from the Search Results list window.
