L’exemple de code suivant montre comment utiliser un DropDownList contrôle, TextBox des contrôles et plusieurs ObjectDataSource contrôles pour mettre à jour des données. le DropDownList affiche le nom d’un employé Northwind, tandis que les TextBox contrôles sont utilisés pour entrer et mettre à jour les informations d’adresse. Étant donné que la UpdateParameters collection contient un ControlParameter objet lié à la valeur sélectionnée du DropDownList, le bouton qui déclenche l’opération Update n’est activé qu’après la sélection d’un employé.

L’objet métier est supposé mettre à jour les données un enregistrement à la fois, plutôt que dans un lot.
Avant l’exécution de l’opération Update , la OnUpdating méthode est appelée pour déclencher l’événement Updating . Vous pouvez gérer l’événement Updating pour examiner les valeurs des paramètres et effectuer tout prétraitement avant une Update opération. Pour effectuer une opération de mise à jour, l’objet utilise la ObjectDataSourceView réflexion pour créer une instance de l’objet identifié par la TypeName propriété . Il appelle ensuite la méthode identifiée par la propriété, à l’aide UpdateMethod de toutes les propriétés associées UpdateParameters . Une fois l’opération Update terminée, la OnUpdated méthode est appelée pour déclencher l’événement Updated . Vous pouvez gérer l’événement Updated pour examiner les valeurs de retour, les paramètres de sortie et les exceptions, et pour effectuer tout post-traitement.
La Update méthode délègue à la Update méthode du ObjectDataSourceView associé au ObjectDataSource contrôle .

Important
Vous devez valider toute valeur de paramètre que vous recevez du client. Le runtime remplace simplement la valeur du paramètre dans la UpdateMethod propriété .
Contrôles liés aux données
Lorsque le ObjectDataSource contrôle est associé à un contrôle lié aux données, tel que le GridView contrôle, il n’est pas nécessaire d’appeler la Update méthode à partir du code de page. La Update méthode est appelée directement par le contrôle lié aux données à la place.
