How to Approve Direct Mail

Before Commerce Server can run the direct mail item, the direct mail item must be approved. To approve the direct mail item you must be assigned the Marketing Approver role. For information about the Marketing Approver role, see your system administrator.

After the direct mail item is approved, Commerce Server will run the direct mail item on the scheduled date specified.

This topic describes how to approve a direct mail item.

To approve a direct mail item

  1. To open Commerce Server Marketing Manager, click Start, point to Microsoft Commerce Server 2007 , and then click Marketing Manager.

  2. In Commerce Server Marketing Manager, in the Views pane, click Campaigns.

  3. In the Tree View pane, click Pending Approval.

    Note

    If you cannot see the Tree View pane, click Tree View on the toolbar.

  4. In the Search Results pane, select the direct mail item that you want to approve.

  5. In the Tasks pane, click Approve.
