FormattedText.SetFontWeight Method

Definition

Sets the font weight for the FormattedText object.

Changes the FontWeight for specified text within a FormattedText object.

SetFontWeight(FontWeight)

Sets the font weight for the entire set of characters in the FormattedText object.

SetFontWeight(FontWeight, Int32, Int32)

Changes the FontWeight for specified text within a FormattedText object.

Parameters

weight
FontWeight

The font weight to use for text formatting.

startIndex
Int32

The start index of the initial character to apply the font weight to.

count
Int32

The number of characters to apply the font weight to.

The following example creates a FormattedText object and then applies several formatting styles to the text, including SetFontWeight.

Remarks

FontWeight supports type conversion behavior such that static values of the FontWeights class can be used to initialize FontWeight and fill parameters that are type FontWeight.
