BulletedList.SelectedValue Property

Definition

Gets or sets the Value property of the selected ListItem object in the BulletedList control.

Property Value

The Value of the selected ListItem in the BulletedList; otherwise, an empty string (""), if no item is selected.

An attempt was made to assign a value to the SelectedValue.

Remarks

The SelectedValue property is inherited from the ListControl class and is not applicable to the BulletedList control.

Note

The SelectedValue property is set internally based on the selected list item in the BulletedList control. If you set the SelectedValue property directly, a NotSupportedException exception is thrown.

This property is not bindable in visual designers, but is bindable at runtime. For more information, see BindableAttribute.
