ContentDisposition.ReadDate Property

Gets or sets the read date for a file attachment.

Property Value

A DateTime value that indicates the file read date; otherwise, DateTime.MinValue if no date was specified.

Remarks

The ReadDate property is used to send time stamp information with a file being sent in an email message. This value sets the Read-Date parameter in the Content-Disposition header sent with the email message.

The MailMessage class is used to compose an email message. The Attachment class is used to attach a file to an email message. To set ReadDate, get the ContentDisposition for the attachment by using the Attachment.ContentDisposition property.
