Create favorite

Required Parameters

--name -n

The Id of a specific favorite defined in the Application Insights component.

--resource-group -g

Name of resource group. You can configure the default group using az configure --defaults group=<name>.

--resource-name

The name of the Application Insights component resource.

Optional Parameters

--category

Favorite category, as defined by the user at creation time.

--config

Configuration of this particular favorite, which are driven by the Azure portal UX. Configuration data is a string containing valid JSON.

--favorite-id

Internally assigned unique id of the favorite definition.

--favorite-type

Enum indicating if this favorite definition is owned by a specific user or is shared between all users with access to the Application Insights component.

Accepted values: shared, user
--is-generated-from-template

Flag denoting wether or not this favorite was generated from a template.

Accepted values: 0, 1, f, false, n, no, t, true, y, yes
--source-type

The source of the favorite definition.

--tags

A list of 0 or more tags that are associated with this favorite definition Support shorthand-syntax, json-file and yaml-file. Try "??" to show more.

--version

This instance's version of the data model. This can change as new features are added that can be marked favorite. Current examples include MetricsExplorer (ME) and Search.

--only-show-errors

Only show errors, suppressing warnings.

--output -o

Output format.

Optional Parameters

Required Parameters

--resource-group -g

Name of resource group. You can configure the default group using az configure --defaults group=<name>.

--resource-name

The name of the Application Insights component resource.

Optional Parameters

--can-fetch-content

Flag indicating whether or not to return the full content for each applicable favorite. If false, only return summary content for favorites.

Accepted values: 0, 1, f, false, n, no, t, true, y, yes
--favorite-type

The type of favorite. Value can be either shared or user.

Accepted values: shared, user
Default value: shared
--source-type

Source type of favorite to return. When left out, the source type defaults to 'other' (not present in this enum).

Accepted values: events, funnel, impact, notebook, retention, segmentation, sessions, userflows
--tags

Tags that must be present on each favorite returned. Support shorthand-syntax, json-file and yaml-file. Try "??" to show more.

Optional Parameters

--add

Add an object to a list of objects by specifying a path and key value pairs. Example: --add property.listProperty <key=value, string or JSON string>.

--category

Favorite category, as defined by the user at creation time.

--config

Configuration of this particular favorite, which are driven by the Azure portal UX. Configuration data is a string containing valid JSON.

--favorite-id

Internally assigned unique id of the favorite definition.

--favorite-type

Enum indicating if this favorite definition is owned by a specific user or is shared between all users with access to the Application Insights component.

--force-string

When using 'set' or 'add', preserve string literals instead of attempting to convert to JSON.
