Code Field, Country/Region Table

Specifies a country/region code that you can select, for example on the cards for foreign customers and vendors. The field is mandatory for INTASTAT reporting. In connection with electronic document sending, the country/region code must comply with ISO 3166-1:Alpha2.

Important

The Code field must be filled if you do business with other countries/regions in the EU. This is because you use the Country/Region table to set up the VAT- VIES Declaration Tax Auth report and to create INTRASTAT reports, which include information about sales to other countries/regions. You must also fill in the EU Country/Region Code and the Intrastat Code fields if you are required to report VAT-VIES and INTRASTAT. For more information, see Report Intrastat.
