Voice Clarity Mic Boost Test

Test description

The algorithms in Voice Clarity assume the microphone signal is not altered by a boost subunit. This test is to verify that boost subunits are not present in the capture data path. All microphone channels must satisfy the test requirement.

Test steps

  1. Traverse the data path through device topologies for the capture endpoints under test.
  2. Traverse links in each device topology and search for a microphone boost subunit.

Pass/Fail criteria

Microphone boost subunit must not be present.

Troubleshooting

  • Remove boost subunits from the microphone endpoint.
