Running the test
Before you run the test, complete the test setup as described in the test requirements: Wireless LAN (802.11) Testing Prerequisites.
This test performs the following actions:
- Configure two routers, that are named Router 0 and Router 1, as follows:
- Router 0 - 2.4Ghz : OPEN/NONE/G/Channel 1 - SSID 1
- Router 0 - 5Ghz : WPA2ENTERPRISE/AES/A/Channel 44 - SSID 2
- Router 1 - 2.4Ghz : OPEN/NONE/G/Channel 6 - SSID 1
- Router 1 - 5Ghz : WPA2ENTERPRISE/AES/N/Channel 36 - SSID 2
- Turn OFF all radios in adapter
- Turn ON all radio in adapter
- Initiate a Scan with Broadcast/NULL SSID (Flush BSS list from adapter before scan).
- Wait upto 10 seconds for scan to finish
- For any routers configured for Hidden SSID, Initiate a Scan for that SSID
- Wait upto 10 seconds for scan to finish
- Validate all configured routers are available in the scan list. For each router, match SSID, BSSID, Auth, Ciper and Channel.
