LoadGen Server Stress - Run First - Set Machine Policies
This automated test sets the machine policies required by the test on the test computers in the machine pool. In addition, the test job configures auto-logon to Local Logical User Domain Admin Local Admin (LLU_DALA) on the master client and then reboots the computer.
Warning
This test must be run first before running any other server test.
This test initiates the following actions:
RunJob - Set the policies on the system under test (SUT)
Enable AutoLogon on SUT
Setup LLU_DALA on SUT
RunJob - Machine Config on SUT
Reboot SUT
Enable AutoLogon on MC
Setup LLU_DALA on MC
RunJob - Set the policies on MC
RunJob - Machine Config on MC
Reboot MC
Record SCs to dimension on MC
RunJob - Machine Config on SC
Reboot SC
Check if domain name required parameter value is provided
Check if user name required parameter value is provided
Check if password required parameter value is provided
Enable NT Boot Log on SUT
Disable Processor Group Awareness on SUT

Running the test
Before you run the test, complete the test setup as described in the test requirements: System Server Testing Prerequisites and Test Server Configuration.
Create HLK Project with SUT
- Open HLK Studio
- Navigate to the Project tab and click the Create Project link
- Enter a project name and hit Enter
- Navigate to the Selection tab
- Select the machine pool containing the SUT
- Select systems
- Select the SUT
Schedule LoadGen Server Stress - Run First - Set Machine Policies
- Navigate to the Tests tab
- Select LoadGen Server Stress - Run First - Set Machine Policies
- Click the Run Selected link
- In the Schedule dialog, enter parameters and map machines to roles:
- Enter the Domain name, user name, and password of the account that will be used to run test. This account should be a domain account and have administrative privileges on the SUT, MC, and SC.
- Use the Role dropdown to select machines for the MC and SC roles (SUT will be prepopulated)
- Click OK to schedule the test
