Manual Test - IPoverUSB - (WoW64 for Arm64)
This is a manual test & it should be run outside HLK by following the manual instructions provided below. If this test is run as an automated test from HLK studio/controller, the test will pass by default without testing any functionality. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Manual instructions to run this test: IP Over USB is a transport that can be used for TShell, Telnet, User Mode Debugger, and other engineering TCP based tools. 1. Make sure you have KDNet disabled in your phone (SelfHost images have the right configuration by default, Test images don't). To do this, boot the phone in mass storage mode and run "cfgdbg /D". 2. Verify you have the latest TShell and the latest engineering IP Over USB installed (both available in WP Blue Jumpstart) 3. Attach and unlock the phone (enter your PIN) 4. Open a connection to the device like this: open-device 127.0.0.1 (This assumes you have only one device attached to the PC, for using multiple devices at the same time with TShell you need WPCups.exe running and connect using the phone's GUID) 5. Run ipoverusbenum.exe. The Ipoverusbenum.exe output should look something like this: Partner: Container Id: FED9822C-003D-545E-9C24-D52DAF3321E9 Instance: USB\VID_045E&PID_F0CA&MI_01\6&F2A597C&0&0001 Name: RM-820|Nokia Lumia 920 Guid: 00000011-21E1-1653-0000-000000000000 Partner Services listening at ports: DebugOutput 8878 -> 127.0.0.1:8878 Debugger 8888 -> 127.0.0.1:8888 SocksProxy 1080 - SOCKS Telnet 1023 -> 127.0.0.1:23 VSDebugger 4016 -> 127.0.0.1:4016 WPCon 29817 -> 127.0.0.1:29817 WPConProtocol2 29820 -> 127.0.0.1:29820 WPConTCPPing 29819 -> 127.0.0.1:29819 WpPerfMon 8889 -> 127.0.0.1:8889 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Note: This test is associated with an optional feature: System.Client.MobileHardware. It will not appear in the list of tests in HLK studio for a system target by default. Optional: To enable it to show up in the list of tests for system target in HLK studio, run the following steps: 1] In HLK Studio, select system target 2] Right click on the selected system target 3] Click on Add\Modify Features 4] A Device Feature List window will open up 5] Scroll down to select the feature named: System.Client.MobileHardware 6] Click on the check box to enable this optional feature 7] This test will now appear in the list of applicable tests for the selected system target in HLK studio - This test is a WoW64 for Arm64 version of test guid 9f6c982b-3f43-495c-b69f-7ef5c2b3fe85
