Workflow Applications Tab (Workflow Manager for SQL Server)

This content is no longer actively maintained. It is provided as is, for anyone who may still be using these technologies, with no warranties or claims of accuracy with regard to the most recent product version or service release.

This tab lists all workflow applications currently available on the designated server. From this tab, you can save a workflow application as a template, view the properties for the currently selected applications, or delete the currently selected application.

  • Applications list
Lists the application title of the workflow applications available on the selected server, the workflow-enabled SQL Server database name, the URL to each application's Web site, and the SAM Account Name of the workflow application owner. This information is added to the modSystem database when the application is registered on the server. To edit an application's title, click Properties, and type a new title.

  • Create Template
Starts the SQL Server Workflow Template Creation wizard, which makes it possible for you to save complete applications as templates that can be distributed to other servers.

  • Properties
Displays the Application Properties dialog box where you can edit the application's title. Most workflow applications, such as those based on the Issue Tracking sample template, use this title as a banner in the HTML pages.

Note   Only members of the modAppOwners group can change the application title.

  • Delete
Deletes the selected application, along with the workflow-enabled database and the Web site, from the server.

Note   You must be a member of the modAppOwners group and have database owner permissions for the application database to delete the application.
