Script Errors

A typo or the stray use of characters or keywords that have special meaning to Microsoft® Visual Basic® Scripting Edition (VBScript) can cause script errors.

Characters to be careful about using include:

  • Exclamation points (!)
  • Periods (.)
  • Question marks (?)
  • Commas (,)
  • Any other non-alphanumeric characters: "   /   \    [   ]    :    ;    |   =   +   *   <   >
