Create reports with Copilot in Microsoft Sustainability Manager

With Copilot in Microsoft Sustainability Manager, you can use natural language to generate emissions and Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) reports.

Copilot can only help with CSRD and emissions reports at this time.
Create an emissions report with Copilot
Enter a trigger phrase. For example:
- Create emissions report
- Generate an emissions report
- Emissions report
When Copilot asks you to describe the report, enter the emissions report description. For example:
- Generate an emissions report in English for the last 30 days
- Generate an emissions report in English named "Emissions report" for the period January 1, 2022 through December 31, 2022
Create a water report with Copilot
Enter a trigger phrase. For example:
- Create water report
- Generate a water report
- Water report
When Copilot asks you to describe the report, enter the emissions report description. For example:
- Generate a water report in English for the last 30 days
- Generate a water report in English named "Water report" for the period January 1, 2022 through December 31, 2022
Create a waste report with Copilot
Enter a trigger phrase. For example:
- Create waste report
- Generate a waste report
- Waste report
When Copilot asks you to describe the report, enter the emissions report description. For example:
- Generate a waste report in English for the last 30 days
- Generate a waste report in English named "Waste report" for the period January 1, 2022 through December 31, 2022
Create a CSRD report with Copilot
Enter a trigger phrase. For example:
- Create CSRD report
- Generate a CSRD report
- CSRD report
When Copilot asks you to describe the report, enter the CSRD report description. For example:
- Create a CSRD report in English for the year 2023 called "2023 CSRD preparation report" for "Contoso Corp" organizational unit
Troubleshooting
If the information to generate a report is incomplete, Sustainability Manager prompts for additional information before failing generation. Here are some examples that could cause a failure:
- The reporting period doesn't exist.
- The date range provided wasn't valid.
- The organizational unit wasn't found.
- The new report is attempting to generate with the same name as an existing report.
