Business value
Unlock more data for personalization with the ability to define dynamic text using data that requires traversing 1-to-many relations. Consider a university alumni donation campaign where you want to include the name of the college attended by each alum to drive maximum engagement. However, an alum might have attended multiple colleges in that university, resulting in a "1-to-many" relationship between student and college records. You can now define dynamic text for such data.
Feature details
Dynamic text can use data from tables that are related to the Audience (Contact or Lead) up to six hops away. When the tables are related by 1-to-many or many-to-many relations:
- A default condition is automatically created to select the most recently created record in case more than one record exists when traversing the relation.
- You can update the conditions or define additional conditions to select the record per your requirements.
- The user experience shows which relation has such conditions placed.
