Current Utilization (Power BI Report)

The Current Utilization report provides insights into the manufacturing capacity use and helps with capacity planning. It shows the capacity available and used by hours and the percentage of use.

Use the report

The report is meant for business leaders and manufacturing teams.

COOs use the report to monitor the percentage of use of resources on production lines and ensure efficient allocation. You can analyze the capacity utilization gauges to track the current week's utilization percentage. The analysis can help you make necessary adjustments to meet production deadlines. The report also helps you track the expected capacity need percentage to keep the utilization rate above the required threshold.

Manufacturing managers use the report to understand the capacity of machine and work centers. The report provides insights into the capacity used by hour, allowing you to optimize the use of your machine and work centers. You can use the gauges to track today's utilization percentage and the current week's utilization percentage, and adjust the production schedules accordingly.
