Video: Ford Sync test | Crave : The gadget blog

Stumbled on another Ford Sync / Microsoft Windows Automotive video today -- this one a review from CNET that shows streaming music from a phone over Bluetooth to the head unit, as well as receiving and listening to text messages being read by the car to you.  Also shows the user interface screens that let you pick pre-written replies to incoming text messages.  See here: Video: Ford Sync test | Crave : The gadget blog.

One interesting fact that comes out in this video is that there are actually 2 Bluetooth radios in the system.  This lets you stream music from one phone and make hands-free calls with another phone at the same time.  Cool.  :-)    image

To see more SYNC demonstration video, check about 50 minutes into Bill Gates' Keynote at CES yesterday, and also here.   For a full list of my blog posts that touch on Ford SYNC, including commentary, analysis, videos, and architecture info, see here.
