On screen keyboard not working in kiosk mode

Hello,
I want to set up a PC with a touchscreen as a kiosk with Edge as the app.
I'm following this guide from Microsoft as it is the most up to date one - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/configuration/kiosk-prepare

It says: For a more secure kiosk experience, we recommend that you make the following configuration changes to the device before you configure it as a kiosk:

So, I logged in with my local account, enabled tablet mode and also enabled "Always use tablet mode" and "Always switch to tablet mode" in the Tablet tab in Settings. After that I set up a new kiosk account and restarted. After I restarted the on-screen keyboard isn't showing up in the kiosk account. It works in the other local account. What am I doing wrong here?

0.Could you please enter winver in command prompt on problematical win10 touchscreen computer and look the os version and os version number ?[for example windows 10 enterprise 1809 (os build 17763.316)]

1.Did you try to set below registry key for your problematical win10 computer?
Please backup registry key first and try to set below registry then check if the issue persist.
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\TabletTip\1.7\EnableDesktopModeAutoInvoke = 1
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\TabletTip\1.7\DisableNewKeyboardExperience = 1
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\windows\CurrentVersion\ImmersiveShell\TabletMode = 1

Hello,
It's Windows 10 Pro Version 20H2 (OS Build 19042.985)

I tried to set the registry keys, but this works for my local account, not the kiosk account. I can't enter Regedit from the kiosk account.

Try adding the mentioned registry keys under HKLM, instead of HKCU

Did you follow my above steps to create a task scheduler to run touch.bat? Can this method to solve the issue?

Thank you for the reply. I guess for anyone else who finds themself here, I had to reset the windows installation then add the keys to HKLM and it worked. I set up 8 tablets and every one of them worked after doing this.

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\TabletTip\1.7\EnableDesktopModeAutoInvoke = 1

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\windows\CurrentVersion\ImmersiveShell\TabletMode = 1

I solved it. The problem was a combination tablet mode and onscreen keyboard.
It's been a while so i'm unsure about the exact specifics but i believe it was... do not enable tablet mode. Do enable onscreen keyboard.
