Unable to run .net 4.8 apps on IIS using Arm processor (M1 Max)

I have a macbook pro with M1 max processor running windows 11 pro in Parallels using the most updated version as to writing this message.

When trying to run .net 4.8 app on IIS I get the following error in the event viewer:

The Module DLL 'C:\Program Files\IIS\Asp.Net Core Module\V2\aspnetcorev2.dll' could not be loaded due to a configuration problem. The current configuration only supports loading images built for a AMD64 processor architecture. The data field contains the error number. I have no projects using aspnetcorev2.dll so I don't understand how this error even makes sense.

Any ideas?

Hi, let me just clarify a littler further. I installed no hosting bundles at all, this is a clean install of windows with visual studio. I tried using a pool with 32bit emulation but the same error appears.

I do not have any .net core module installed on my pc.

I also noticed in the module sections of IIS there was aspnetcorev2 there by default. Even after removing it from the top level iis module and from sites and restarting iis it still happens.

Perfeito segui o passo de alterar propriedade enable virtual arm64 para false funcionou perfeitamente , tive que iniciar o pool algumas vezes mas ficou perfeito
