Hey All,

The Microsoft Management Pack Catalog Web Service cannot be contacted at this time. There is either a problem with your Internet connection or the Web service is offline.

No Issue with Intenet or TLS

Can access below site. No firewall issue but not sure, it was working fine few days back but now stopped working

Thanks, I had to add below registry key

Start Registry Editor by right-clicking Start, type regedit in the Run textbox, and then click OK.

Locate the following registry subkey: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft.NETFramework\v4.0.30319.

Create the DWORD value SchUseStrongCrypto under this subkey with a value of 1.

Locate the following registry subkey: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Microsoft.NETFramework\v4.0.30319.

Create the DWORD value SchUseStrongCrypto under this subkey with a value of 1.

Restart the system for the settings to take effect.

    Hi @SaveEarthgogreen ,

ttry closing the SCOM console and starting it again, this is a known issue. Afterwards you should be able to connect, but only once.
I hope this is being fixed soon.

    Hi,

I have just tested the catalog, and I can search for MP without problems, so it's online.

We suggest try to add the SCOM server to the whitelist on the firewall.

There is a known issue for this. It's documented as "Trying to update a Management Pack from the Console from the Update Catalog after another one was updated would throw a connection error."

It's addressed in Update Rollup 1 for System Center 2022 Operations Manager
