I have a user who has access on a shared mailbox but she wants to turn off the reminders of shared mailbox only but not for her primary mailbox.

I had checked in outlook settings but I can't see any option to turn off calendar reminders seperately.

She is using outlook of office 365 version.

Kindly help.

My wife shares her Outlook calendars with me and I share mine with her.

I get reminders for my appointments.

Now I am getting reminders for appointments on her calendar.

And she is now getting reminders for my appointments that are on my calendar.

We didn't used to get these and don't want them.

How can we change a setting to avoid getting reminders for each other's calendar appointments, but retain getting reminders for our own?

    Hi @Vinay Bhatia ,

Is the shared mailbox is added as a seperate email account in the same profile with the user's primary account, that is, both accounts are listed under the Email tab when you check it via File > Account Settings > Account Settings? If this is the case, it's an expected behavior that the reminders for the shared mailbox will also pop up.

Assuming the user has full access to the shared mailbox, agree with Andy you can let the shared mailbox auto-mapped to the user to avoid calendar reminders for the shared mailbox.

An alternative is to add the shared mailbox as an additional maibox:

    1. Go to File > Account Settings > Account Settings > Email.
    2. Double click on the user's account, choose More Settings > Advanced > Add, type the shared email address, such as shared@Company portal .com:

    3. Choose OK > OK, choose Next > Finish > Close.

Hello, I have the exact same problem as David Bubes :

My wife shares her Outlook calendars with me and I share mine with her. I get reminders for my appointments. I am getting reminders for appointments on her calendar. I don't want the reminders, just the calendar view of her appointments. I'm using Outlook 365 Desktop.

I don't understand the suggested solutions, I'm not sure they apply to my case. Could somebody help?

    Thanks

    Gz

Is this shared mailbox auto-mapped to the user? In other words, does the user have full mailbox access? If so, then they should not be seeing reminders for a shared mailbox and nothing needs to be changed.

I have the same problem and there seems to be no solution and very little support from MS. The solutions offered are disable all notifications, or get all - For as much discussion is going on regarding this issue it seems obvious that MS outlook calendar needs some "fixes".
