August 2023 - the problem still persists. No SMS received - keeps saying we have already sent you a code. What a waste of time.
Developer Subscription: Unable to use phone issue
I am attempting to subscribe to an Developer tenant (https://developer.microsoft.com/), but when I am prompted to enter my phone number to get an SMS text, it gives me this error:
"We're unable to send the code to that number. Please provide a valid cell phone number and try again. MS-CorrelationId: 24293d63-b93d-44c1-b2c1-83978132fb5d"
The phone number is valid and works just fine with other products and services that require SMS/MFA texts.
What is the issue?
