Returns the current number of columns. -or- ColumnCount is used only to generate default column/column indices when they are not specified by a component's layout parameters.

Returns the current number of columns. This is either the last value that was set with #setColumnCount(int) or, if no such value was set, the maximum value of each the upper bounds defined in LayoutParams#columnSpec.
