Následující příklad ukazuje scénář, který je popsán v části Poznámky. Příklad umožňuje uživateli zadat data pro položku knihovny a odeslat data. Vazba pro TextBox pojmenovaný callNum má přidruženou ValidationRule . Když dojde ke ztrátě TextBox fokusu, příklad volání ValidateWithoutUpdate. Když uživatel klikne na tlačítko odeslat, ukázkové volání UpdateSource pro potvrzení změn. Následující XAML vytvoří uživatelské rozhraní pro aplikaci.

Metoda ValidateWithoutUpdate umožňuje spouštět ověřovací pravidla pro vazbu bez aktualizace zdroje vazby. To je užitečné, když chcete ověřit vstup uživatele a aktualizovat zdroj v různých časech v aplikaci.
