Important
Authorization Manager is available for use in the following versions of Windows: Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Server 2012, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8. It is deprecated as of Windows Server 2012 R2 and may be removed in subsequent versions.

Select the authorization store type |
Specifies the format of the authorization policy store to be opened. Authorization Manager supports the use of authorization policy stores based on Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) or Active Directory Lightweight Directory Services (AD LDS), XML files, or Microsoft SQL Server Database. |
Store Name |
Specifies the Uniform Resource Locator (URL) or file system path to the authorization policy store to be opened. |
Browse |
Allows you to locate or choose a store if the store type supports browsing. |
