Project.Build Method (IEnumerable<ILogger>)

Builds this project, using the default targets and the given loggers.

MSBuild is now included in Visual Studio instead of the .NET Framework. You can use MSBuild 12.0 side-by-side with versions previously deployed with the .NET Framework.For more information, see What's New in MSBuild 12.0.

Parameters

  • loggers
    Type: IEnumerable<ILogger>

    An enumerator over all loggers to be used during the build.

Return Value

Type: System.Boolean
Returns true on success; false otherwise.

Remarks

To set or get virtual items for build purposes, clone a project instance explicitly and build that. This method does not modify the project object.
