Excel 版本需求

在用戶端上載入及計算 PowerPivot 資料

PowerPivot for Excel 包含在 Excel 中以同處理序 (In-Process) 執行的 Analysis Services xVelocity 記憶體中分析引擎 (VertiPaq)。 用戶端應用程式會使用 AMO 和 ADOMD.NET，接著使用 Analysis Services OLE DB 提供者，以連接及查詢活頁簿內的 PowerPivot 資料。

Analysis Services xVelocity 引擎會在工作站上發出查詢，然後從不同的資料來源接收資料，包括關聯式或多維度資料庫、文件、公用資料存放區或 Web 服務。 在資料匯入和用戶端資料重新整理期間，對外部來源的所有資料存取都是透過在 Excel 處理序內執行的 Analysis Services xVelocity 引擎。
