Hyperlinking in Messages

Send Feedback

You can quickly act on the information in the e-mail body using smart hyperlinking of pieces of text in text messages. Windows Mobile software for Smartphones recognizes any string beginning with: http:, www., mailto:,https:, file:, wap:, wsp:, sms: or tel: as a URL. Any text containing no spaces and an '@" symbol is considered an e-mail address. Phone numbers are any sequence of characters containing six or more digits. Hyperlinking works in Short Message Service (SMS) and e-mail messages.
