Compares two URLs and determines if they are equal.

Syntax

HRESULT CompareUrl(
  LPCWSTR pwzUrl1,
  LPCWSTR pwzUrl2,
  DWORD dwCompareFlags
);

Parameters

  • pwzUrl1
    [in] String value that contains the first URL.
  • pwzUrl2
    [in] String value that contains the second URL.
  • dwCompareFlags
    [in] Unsigned long integer value that controls the comparison. Set this to TRUE to ignore slashes, or to FALSE otherwise.

Return Values

Returns S_OK if successful, or an error value otherwise.
